This has always been one of my favorite original AC/DC releases because it's a sort of greatest hits package and the energy of the live material is outstanding. This new remastered CD sounds better than ever.cleaner, more bass, more full and rich sounding. I grew up as a kid being a big fan of the original AC/DC lineup with Bon Scott (I still like AC/DC with Brian Johnson, but it's just different) and this live set outdoes the original studio versions in many ways. I had this album on vinyl, again on CD, and now have bought it again for the remastered CD. Well worth the extra $$$ for this new remastered version of the CD. Bon's vocals are raw and powerful, and his stage swagger just oozes off of this live material. The manic Angus solos and riffs are sped up and on fire here.

Classic AC/DC tracks like "Rocker", "Rock'N'Roll Damnation", and "Whole Lotta Rosie" are included with speaker melting potential. This CD offers great live tracks from one of the most iconic bands that Rock'N'Roll has ever seen. I highly recommend this one. Unlike some live albums that offer an abundance of crowd noise and poor mixing/engineering, "If You Want Blood You've Got It" delivers a wonderful sound quality that allows you to enjoy the band like you are right there in the pub with them, capturing the full live onslaught of this Rock'N'Roll juggernaugt as they ascended the hierarchy of hard rock in the late 1970s.Great music at a great value, what else can you ask for. AC/DC was one of rock's hardest working bands of the late 1970s, cranking out albums and going on tour with some of the biggest names in hard rock and heavy metal. "If You Want Blood You've Got It" captures the band's hard, raw, Australian blue-collar sound in a live atmosphere with immortal front man Bon Scott out front whining out on the vocals.
this cd will drag you back whether you want it to or not. But if you "used to be into rock, but are into the more modern stuff now" then be warned. Each track in nothing short of brilliant, with BON SCOTT and ANGUS YOUNG in top form , there are NO second-rate tracks here. If you want an example of a perfect live album, this is it.The only ACDC live album(from BON SCOTT era)that is better thant this,is the LET THERE BE ROCK 2 disk live soundtrack included in rhe BONFIRE boxset.
Great set list of songs performed even better and faster than the album versions. AC/DC live is epic, was then, always was and stil is. This shows Bon Scott and co owning the live stage like only they can.
